    Hi Jim,
Did you know I was actually at Disco Demolition? I was there with my parents and little sister. I thought we were going to die. I was in college at the time working a summer internship and met them at the park. Someone gave the tickets to my Dad. Little did we know what we were walking into.

If you weren’t in advertising would you still be a writer? Have you thought about what kind of writer you would be? I’m asking you because I’m trying to help my son. He just graduated from DePaul University with a degree in screenwriting. He is working at the Onion as an intern right now. His internship is coming up at the end of August and I fear the worst, unemployment.

Would you mind if I put him in contact with you? You have a natural instinct to teach and share and I think your experience would be helpful for him. I’m too removed from the real world these days and my own driving paranoia is not helpful.

    Be well,
    Victor

You had some nice things to say about my book, THE COMIC TOOLBOX. I’d like to turn you on to my new novel, POOLE’S PARADISE. Can we talk?

Hi Bosilawhat, over a few years now – not sure how many – I have looked forward to the fruits of your labours unexpectedly arriving in my inbox. I just love your style and commitment. I get to read whole books without reading them. I get interpretation and opinion that I enjoy and have learned to trust so much that I feel I know each book from your review. I believe that, were I to pick up a real book from your review list, it would be pretty much as you say.
    Thanks for the good reads.

    Lazyorwhat 🙂

    Best regards and respect
    Terry,

What an awesome holiday surprise, Terry. Thank you for your comment. I write my book reviews mostly to amuse myself, but it’s so nice to know that someone else enjoys them as well. Really appreciate you posting. Happy holidays!
